The Muir will release its latest recording on EcoClassics fall of 2009, including  Schulhoff 5 Pieces, Berg Op. 3, and the Kreisler Quartet. Find it soon on ITunes, and through Classics for Kids Foundation, alongside their other Grammy-winning recordings on EcoClassics.

The Muir continues its collaboration in 2008-2009 with legendary pianist Menachem Pressler with concerts in Philadelphia, Pittsfield, MA, Boston, Concord, MA and Buffalo, NY.

The Muir performs and teaches at the Deer Valley Festival July 13-Aug. 1. Concerts at Deer Valley and in Park City alongside composer and pianist Joan Tower. The Deer Valley Festival supports the Emerging Quartets and Composers program, where emerging quartets are taught advanced quartet and business skills alongside Joan Tower’s protégé composers. New works are written by each composer for their counterpart quartet.
